r1980pd: sweet, my RAM arrived r1980pd: I ordered 512MB of 184 pin DDR, PC2100, 32x64 DIMM r1980pd: two 256MB DIMMs r1980pd: oops, I snapped one trying to put in my machine. r1980pd: oh well. r1980pd: The other one seems to be dead... r1980pd: Oh, I had jammed it in backwards. r1980pd: That explains the smoke. r1980pd: My video card arrived, too r1980pd: It fits really poorly into the PCI slot though. r1980pd: my only AGP slot is filled, so I put it in a free PCI r1980pd: it didn't boot, so Chris tried it in an ISA r1980pd: It was a son of a bitch to get in there, but with enough force, it always fits in. r1980pd: Oh, sweet, my ATX-micro case arrived. r1980pd: It's a sweet flourescent orange. r1980pd: Damn, the fragile piece of shit shattered when I tripped and fell on it. r1980pd: Luckily, my full-tower arrived. r1980pd: So I still have one case ready, a nice translucent blue/white. r1980pd: I'm gonna put XP on there, and pretend I have a Mac. r1980pd: Awww, shit! r1980pd: I was screwing in the video card, just to keep it safe, and I slipped and stuck the screw driver through the power supply. r1980pd: Well, I can always take the supply from the shattered ATX-micro. r1980pd: It's a 200 uW power supply. r1980pd: That big bastard can run like, 7 LEDs. r1980pd: SHit! r1980pd: Goddamn it! r1980pd: I hooked it up, and burned out the supply. r1980pd: Damn. r1980pd: Now I'm just surrounded by various shocked, mangled, and smoking computer components, all that left of a massive shipment, costing hundreds of dollars. r1980pd: damn...
